Baja Racing is just the thing for thrill-seekers. Off-road buggies can get up to 80 mph as you zip through the back roads of Cabo. Half-, full- and multi-day adventures are available, complete with safety training and professional racing guides.

Whale Shark Swim
The largest fish in the sea, the whale shark is a gentle giant. From October to February, get up close to this amazing creature during an encounter provided by Cabo Adventures. Afterward, enjoy a local lunch of "Baja-style" tacos.

The rock formations at Land's End, known as El Arco, are the most iconic sights in the Cabo landscape. Rent an ocean kayak and paddle out to view them and the resident sea lions. Or try a water taxi or cruise; most outfitters make a stop there.

Cabo del Sol's Ocean Course. With six championship courses on Los Cabos, you may want to golf every day of your vacation. But if you want a truly memorable day on the links, make it Cabo del Sol's Ocean Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus. Keep in mind, this is no easy course; the front nine features back-to-back par 3s. However, they're both spectacular oceanfront holes, too. Make sure to see this course to the end, as golf.com claims that the final three holes are the top "closing trio" in Mexico.
Sport Fishing: Trophy Catches. Los Cabos is home to the highest paying sport fishing tournament in the world for good reason. The rich waters of the Sea of Cortez support a robust marine life that includes trophy-sized Marlin, Tuna, Dorado, Wahoo, and Sailfish. Private charters offer the opportunity to fish like the pros, customize the length of your trip and even target the specific fish of your choice.

Whale Tails
Whale watching season is primarily December 15th to April 15th, but you may see the annual gray whale migration as early as October. Charter a cruise to get up close, or keep an eye out while sunbathing - you may catch a glimpse by scanning the horizon.

Two for One
Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo make up the Los Cabos corridor - check out both towns to get a true sense of the Baja region. San Lucas specializes in restaurants and nightlife, San Jose has a traditional Mexican charm and shopping.

Forecasting Your Los Cabos Vacation
Cabo enjoys relatively hot summers, cool winters and low humidity (despite its proximity to the ocean). The weather is near perfect with more than 300 days of sunshine throughout the year. In some cases, more than 350 days are sunny and clear. If a storm should arise, it doesn't last long - the rain is fleeting.
