At the Stein Eriksen Lodge, choose from one- or two-bedroom suites as well as spacious three-to-five-bedroom residences, like Ski Haven and Wasatch, all with access to resort amenities including rooftop pools, restaurants, ski lockers, and a fitness center. Go for the Gold
Deer Valley was part of the 2002 Winter Olympics, so you can reserve a bobsled ride with a World Cup/Olympic driver that reaches speeds of up to 60 miles an hour. Skiers can also test their speed at the NASTAR training program.

Adventure in the Wasatch Range
Award winning. Deer Valley is consistently rated SKI magazine's top family resort for a reason. Less than an hour's drive from Salt Lake City, the area is an excellent destination choice for families with children ages 2 months to 12 years as it has a huge array of age appropriate activities for your young ones.
Fun for the young and the young at heart. Deer Valley's Summer Adventure Camp will keep your kids busy with field trips, swimming, mountain biking and scavenger hunts. The Adventure Camp itinerary includes events such as the Ooey Gooey Gack Project, Wacky Gacky Moss Toss, Bucky's Buried Treasure and Mountain Top Hip Hop. With names like these, what kid could resist?
Philanthropy. Children will also get a taste for doing good. Every summer, the camp participants display and sell their summer creations at an art show with S.A.V.E. (Summer Adventure Volunteer Effort) and donate the funds they earn to a deserving organization. Past recipients have included Wrightsville Beach Sea Turtle Project and the Blind Children's Learning Center.

Forecasting Your Deer Valley Vacation
Deer Valley's climate is ideal for skiing in winter and exploring the outdoors in summer. Sitting 6,500 feet above sea level, Deer Valley and nearby Park City deliver crisp winters with plenty of powdery snow and pleasant summers with glimmering sunshine. Snow blankets the city starting in November and generally melts by June.
