Wet or Dry?
As the green changes to brown, the gold season (from mid-November to May) offers beautiful, unfettered ocean views and less humidity. By contrast, the rainy season (particularly June to September), is lush and lovely, with sunny mornings and brief afternoon showers.

You'll be greeted with warm days on your Costa Rica vacation. At night, the temperatures stay in the low 70s, making for pleasant conditions on your patio. Although rainfall in the country is much higher from May to October, the Guanacaste region is the sunniest in Costa Rica, and generally sees mostly sunny days even in the "rainy season," with a possible shower in the late afternoon or early evening.
